QAPAQ has born in 2025 as a way to expand the range of products offered by Peccary Leather SAC to our luxury market clients.
We have been working with Baby Alpaca yarns since 2011 on our different products and this year we decided to take our love for the Baby Alpaca yarns and translate it into a new product: high-end yarns.
Our vast knowledge of our Andean Alpacas, the yarn industry around them and the ever-growing market demand for high quality yarns Made in Peru, have allowed us to grow and expand quickly in quantity, quality and variety of the Alpaca fibers, but also our ability to meet the needs of our clients, new and old, from an advantaged geographical point for Alpaca fiber.
The dynamic spirit of our business and credibility due to been in the industry for more than 20 years has helped us secure and maintain valuable relationships with spinning mills within the country. It is through our experience and our reliable sources helping that Qapaq Yarn can provide flexibility, reliability and a fast service.
Make our Alpaca yarns be known for their high quality around the world and to bridge the gap between ancient Andean traditions and modern conscious creators by providing ethically sourced, traceable alpaca yarns that honor the land, the animal, and the artisan and hopefully get to inspire a slower, more circular textile industry that prioritize the natural preservation of our planet’s ecosystem.
